User's Guide

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This Exchange Set deletes the Overlay Inland ENCs (shipping police data), which is based on the Inland ECDIS Standard 2.0:

1S Close Edition 5

1S Edition 5, 22.03.2011

ca. 37.2 KB

km 2201.5 - km 1872.7

If you have already older versions '1S Edition 5' of these Overlay Inland ENCs (shipping police data) on your system, please install first the delete Exchange Set files '1S Close Edition 5' before you install the new '1S Edition 1' Overlay Inland ENCs. The reason is that the file names of Overlays change (from 1SLD.... to 1SAD....) by conversion from Inland ECDIS Standard 2.0 to 2.1. Otherwise the older versions '1S Edition 5' would not be deleted automatically and your system would contain two different Overlay Inland ENCs (shipping police data) for the same areas.

For more detailed information please contact your software provider if you are not sure whether your Inland ECDIS Viewer is compatible to display the Inland ENCs according to the Inland ECDIS standard 2.1.
